Book Rants

Here are some criticisms of some books I've read, generally ones that have annoyed me enough to put together some kind of response. The longer ones will be on their own sub-pages.

Guns, Germs, and Steel is a frustrating and fascinating work, if for no other reason than that it shows how far a writer will go to make a point.

D-Day is another frustrating one. Stephen Ambrose gets a lot of attention, some of it deserved.
